This collection consists of papers and photographs created and collected by Irene Claxton. The papers include correspondence,
trip diaries, photographic notation, and artwork. The photography includes varying sizes and formats of family pictures and
portraits, local newsworthy items, commercial portraiture, creative work, and historic family photographs. Other materials
include slides, albums, and printed material documenting life in Dublin, Georgia. Items of interest include post cards, scrapbooks,
student newspapers, Wesleyan yearbooks, train ticket stubs, photographs of the Dudley, Georgia kitchen cabinet maker Hogan-Scarboro
